Chinese state media says there's increased security in force at the second anniversary of violent unrest which swept ethnic Tibetan areas.
There were no Tibetan representatives at China's annual parliament meeting, and officials there claimed that China was united and that there were no problems.

Statues are being stolen in Salt Lake City.
The first was a 3-foot tall bronze mermaid stolen from the International Peace Garden.
The latest was the theft of an 8-foot tall statue of St. Ambrose, which was stolen from a Catholic Church named after Ambrose. The theft occurred sometime Friday night or early Saturday.
Combined, the stolen statues represent a loss of $60,000.

An Indiana senior is suing his high school for what is being added to his graduation ceremony: Prayer. He is also suing over the method by which the prayer was added. The senior class voted upon and approved the prayer, which the 18-year-old plaintiff says violates the First Amendment. Texas' constitution is, in part, unconstitutional, according to a law professor at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. At issue is Article I, Section 4 of the state's constitution:
