Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) published a report earlier this week that revealed that the religious right's top figures may have influenced the Bush administration before October 2006.
The following had an opportunity to visit with George W. Bush more than one time:
- Jame Dobson, Focus on the Family;
- Andrea Lafferty, Executive Director of the Traditional Values Coalition;
- Wendy Wright, President of Concerned Women for America;
- Gary Bauer, President of American Values
- Jerry Falwell;
- Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council; and
- Louis Sheldon, Chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition.
Don Wildman, founder of the American Family Association, met with Bush one time and three times with staffers.
CREW uses high-impact legal actions to target government officials who sacrifice the common good to special interests.
