Look to the Olympics for Pleiadians, raptures, demons and UFOs

Conspiracy theorists and believers in the supernatural have their eyes glued to the Olympic Games televised from London — maybe not so much for the athletic contests but for the appearance of UFOs.

The buzz seems to have started with an article published in early June at the Daily Mail, where Nick Pope, who is popular in the UFO community, speculated that if there were to be an alien invasion, it would happen during the summer at a popular event, like the 2012 Olympics.  According to the article:

Nick Pope, who has more than two decades under his belt at the Ministry of Defence, said mass summer events - like the Olympic Games in London - would be a prime time for crafts from other worlds to present themselves to mankind.  He warned: 'With the summer of mass events we are all on high alert for terrorism. But we must also cast our eyes further afield and be prepared for even the most seemingly unfathomable.'

So when a mysterious white object floated above the opening celebration at the Olympics, Pope's speculation received renewed interest.  (Actually, the object was a Goodyear blimp called "The Spirit of Safety.")

Blimp or not, apparently Pope's prediction is true because the Pleiadian High Council in Alliance with Four Other Galactic Councils said so.   Galactic high councils, we Earthlings note, always write in ALL CAPS, which is similar to fundamentalist Christian preach-speak, to show their authority so that we pay attention:

IT IS NOW ESTABLISHED AND WAS DECIDED AS OF EARTH DATE, WEDNESDAY JULY 25TH, 2012 BY THE PLEIADIAN HIGH COUNCIL IN ALLIANCE WITH FOUR OTHER GALACTIC COUNCILS, UNDER GALACTIC CODEX GUIDELINES THAT WE THE PLEIADIAN FAMILY OF LIGHT WILL NOW INTERVENE FULLY INTO GAIA’S ASCENSION.

FURTHERMORE IT HAS BEEN DECIDED THAT WE WILL MAKE FULL CONTACT WITH EARTH BEINGS IN EIGHT DAYS FROM THIS TRANSMISSION ON AUGUST 4, 2012 AT THE WORLD OLYMPIC GAMES IN LONDON ENGLAND FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE! THIS WILL BE FOR OUR INTRODUCTION AS WELL AS OUR FIRST EFFORTS TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH YOU IN THE CORRECTION AND ASCENSION OF GAIA AND TO ASSIST WITH YOUR OWN ASCENSION.

When topics like raptures and ascension pop up on the Internet, Pastor Dave of the Trumpet of God Ministries in Flint, MI, pays attention. He's not so sure about those Pleiadians and their "family of light," though, telling his followers that these are demons.

Satan will come out and he will deceive many. He will even appear to be an angel of light. What we have here is not so much an alien invasion, a great lie or deception, you've got a deception by the enemy, Satan. [...] A lot of people are getting caught up in this New Age Christianity and ascension and a Christlike consciousness and star seeds and beings of light, but these are not Pleiadians. These are not extraterrestrial beings from another galaxy, another planet that are coming to help you and to help you make an ascension. The Galactic Federation of Light are Satan's demons. There's that word "light" again. He will appear as an angel of light. Many are going to be deceived.

We're talking about first contact on the 4th and an actual alien invasion on August 12th at the closing of the Olympic Games. No man knows the day or the hour, that's my concern. If this is to be real, "they" wouldn't have a heads up. The enemy, Satan and his demons, wouldn't have a heads up. [...] What I believe will happen is when people start disappearing and the rapture does take place, and that trumpet sounds, I believe these demons [...] will come [...] and many people will find themselves not partaking in any type of ascension.

A Canadian commentator, Alan Watt has summarized all of this the best. "They want to believe it — understand the whole necessity to believe in aliens, because there's no intelligent life down here."
