Conservatives say that there is no war on women in the United States — but as commentator David Pakman points out, a significant majority of women disagree.
About one third of American women believe that there is a broad effort underway to limit their access to reproductive services, including contraception, family planning and abortion according to a poll released by the Kaiser Family Foundation. The poll, however, indicated that reproductive rights are not a hot button issue in terms of the presidential election.
As Pakman points out, 31 percent of women say that reproductive rights are being limited as part of a broad effort, but in looking at the big picture, 76 percent say that reproductive rights are being curtailed in a wide scale effort or to some extent level.
