"The Bible says that children are our inheritance from the Lord, and some of our greatest blessings come through our children and grandchildren," Texas megachurch pastor John Hagee says in an advertisement for his church's latest product, a teddy bear that plays an audio of scripture.
Bearing children is not all about love and blessings, however. His son Matthew warns, "As parents, we do not just bring children into the world, but we bring a soul that has an eternal destination. God holds you accountable for how that soul is led in the fear and the admonition of our Heavenly Father."
To help godly parents deal with this challenge, the Hagees have a new product — a teddy bear that recites scripture to infants and children.
The "Promises To Grow On" audio player is inserted into a teddy bear and, as Matthew Hagee explains, "It gives you the opportunity to saturate your child in an environment of scripture selected for them."
John Hagee Ministries sells the bear and player for $39.
