The Bible Slam: Exodus Chapter 13

The freed Hebrews are instructed to eat no food containing yeast for a period of seven days. This practice is to go on forever in commemoration of their exodus from Egypt.

Since the Lord killed all of the firstborn of Egypt, the Hebrews are to kill their firstborn lambs and goats by breaking their necks or buying them back.

Moses takes Joseph's bones along, and the Hebrews then follow the Lord in a roundabout journey, who appears as a cloud pillar by day and fire pillar by night.

Christians today celebrate pagan holidays such as Easter and Christmas. Why don't they celebrate the holy days set forth in the bible, such as the days of unleavened bread in this chapter?
