The Religious Reich’s Worst Nightmare: Women Rebelling Against Them

Religion is nothing more than mind slavery.  It seeks to control and dominate others, especially women in modern society, and obviously, the Religious Reich intends to turn our country into a Theocracy, starting with enslaving all women under their religious laws, found in the Bible.  During this process, they will deny women birth control and abortion services, even if it means their lives.  The Religious Reich does not care that these things are an essential part of women’s health care.  All they care about is dominating and controlling women, making sure they stay barefoot, pregnant, and chained to the home, like a slave.

As I read and write about the War on Women, I often think the most logical answer to the problem, if the Religious Reich, “God’s Own Party”, were to succeed in passing anti-abortion laws, deny access to birth control, and prevent them from making their own health care decisions, is to deny men sex.  Religion seems to not only dominate women, but also enslave them, making them subhuman people, as Theocracy controls them.  The best way for slaves to fight slavery, is to rise up and refuse to obey their masters.

Valerie Tarico points out in her article that in the Bible, “women are property”, yet the Religious Reich places this idea on their god, not on themselves, when in fact, they are the ones attempting to enslave women. They intend to treat women like property, including and especially in women’s health care matters, selling them out to rapists by forcing them to carry their rapist’s child, as they abide by Exodus 20:17, which is part of their “10 Commandments”, as well as Deuteronomy 22:28-29, in the case of rape. Thus, enslaving women is part of their religious laws and because God ordains it, the Religious Reich must make it happen.

While the Religious Reich does not necessarily go down the list concerning Biblical rules about women, their intention is to make women sub-human and slaves to their husbands, the Church, and the government. Women have no say in the matter, because, according to the Bible, “they are not to be heard” (1 Corinthians 14:34), just ignored and pushed aside, like cattle, which “God’s Own Republican Party” does well. A prime example was during the hearings on birth control coverage, where Republicans denied women a say in the matter, leaving the Democrats to their own hearing, which did not count.

The submission of women, which Tarico lists, is a big thing among the Religious Reich and just like a slave, they expect women to submit to their every will, because God created women for men to rule over and dominate (1 Corinthians 11:2-10). Under religious law, women must submit to their husbands and bare children until they die from childbirth, maybe even taking the child with them when they die (Genesis 3:16). Above all, their personhood and individuality does not matter, because women are baby factories, forced into servitude to their husbands and their vile god.

A woman’s life, life in general, means nothing to the Religious Reich, unless it is a fetus and even then, because they ignore and deny women health care, even the fetus really has no meaning to them. It is nothing more than slavery and I have often thought, maybe it is time women rebelled and refuse to be sexual creatures, at least rebelled against the Religious Reich’s definition of the submissive sex slave a woman must be. Under their Biblical law, women are not entitled to freedom of any sort and it would seem, they are not entitled to live under the Religious Reich’s rule, thus fighting back, by any means, short of violence, is necessary.

Of course, there are problems with this idea of denying men sex, but what if all women, except for maybe those the Religious Reich dominates and enslaves completely, denied men sex if the Religious Reich passed these laws? Theoretically, while women could not get around the Reich’s denial of health care, women could rebel, finding ways to fulfill their sexual needs without becoming pregnant. History has shown many an oppressed group of people, rebelling against oppressive laws, in an effort to regain their rights as human beings. If it were possible, it would be interesting to see what would happen if women began dropping men like rocks or at least refused to obey their husbands.

Women, not completely enslaved by the Religious Reich, could chose to ignore the Church’s teachings about submission, masturbation, and/or homosexuality, in an effort to fulfill their own needs. Such a world where women started to wake up to the Patriarchal domination and slavery of religion by refusing to put up with male domination and oppression, under the guise of religion, could be very interesting.

This sounds almost as though it is a sinister plot against men, but what if women chose to live their lives, by creating the Religious Reich’s worst nightmare, a rebellion or uprising of women, in retaliation for overturning women’s rights, in favour of religious laws?

In this Religious Reich nightmare, because they denied women access to birth control, abortion, and women’s health care, making the United States a Theocracy, women rebelled. Suddenly, men found they were on their own in finding sexual gratification, because women decided to find other means to fulfill their basic primitive need for sexual gratification or were too sick to participate in love-making.

Almost overnight, there was an increase in the sales of vibrators and dildos, as women dropped men like a rocks. This increase in sales of personal satisfaction items triggers a panic in the Religious Reich, in which they started screaming more about the sinful evils of masturbation, but their screams fall on deaf ears, as women rejected religious laws.

At best, women might tell the Religious Reich, “At least we aren’t having sex out-of-wedlock and getting pregnant” or “I refuse to be barefoot and pregnant.” At worst, she might say, “Suck it Jesus! I want my birth control or no sex tonight, besides, I’m in too much pain to even think about sex” or “I refuse Patriarchal domination and I intend to fight it.”

Of course, this newfound freedom of saying no to sex could bring about another group of women, who, because of religion, tried to follow the status quo and in a sense were closet homosexuals, denying themselves. They, like the first group, had a strong need to fulfill their primitive need for sex, but a vibrator was not enough. They wanted more and found that they enjoyed the companionship of a woman more than they did a man’s, as they fulfilled their need for physical contact without men, as well as discovered who they really are.

Eventually, they came out as being gay, triggering another rash of panic in the Religious Reich, as they lose more control of women and ministers start preaching about the supposed increase in homosexuality. The only difference in the Religious Reich’s rants about homosexuality is that they changed Sodom and Gomorrah to Sodomette and Gomorrahatta, as this group of women begin to find themselves and stop trying to follow religious dogma.

However, this second group of women is happier now that they stopped denying who they are, because of religious dogma. Again, they ignore the Religious Reich’s dogma and live their lives better than they did under the control of the Patriarch.

A third group could refuse to submit to their controlling husbands, by leaving them and maybe even filing for divorce. The women, who were religious, yet daring to defy the Religious Reich, leave their husbands, as their means of rebelling against the enslavement of women. If their husbands were ministers, their husband’s would preach about all these so-called “sins”, masturbation, homosexuality, divorce, and the refusal to accept the woman’s place in society, as ordained by God, while they bent over in pain from blue balls, unless the woman forgets to take her children with her. Then her husband is even sicker with control, domination, and power than once thought. Thus, for the sake and safety of her children, especially if they are girls, who are in just as much in danger of this mind slavery, she must not leave her children behind.

Of course, women married for 20 years to decent husbands, might stay, and not even worry about sex, because it gets old after a while. Sex is not as cracked up as some people say it is, but the hormones that drive the young do not drive older people as much, unless they are males leading the Religious Reich. Thus, this group of women might not need to do much, in which to rebel against the Religious Reich. This group of women could find it possible to avoid sex and still enjoy their husband’s company, without any serious problems with this rebellion against the Religious Reich.

Still others of almost any age or religion, with compassionate husbands, may stay as they give their husband’s an honest and sincere form of “not tonight, dear”, due to the pain and suffering caused by the denial of birth control. Their loving husband’s may get involved in the “no sex” rebellion because they refuse to put their wives through the pain of intercourse caused by endometriosis. Some caring and compassionate husbands may watch their wives suffer through ovarian cysts and feel compelled to fight back also. Thus, women would not be alone in their fight against the Patriarch, because some men would also join their cause.

All the women, who started rebelling against the Patriarch and freed themselves from the chains of religious slavery, became happier. The men, who denounced religion, started demanding the women get their rights back and eventually women gained all their rights back, plus, the right to keep the Patriarch out of their doctor’s visits, so they could make their own health care choices. Some religious men might begin to rethink the power of women and their need to have control over their own bodies. Eventually, they also released the women they enslaved with Patriarchal religious dogma.

In the end, some women, who took contraception to control painful periods, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis, started to feel better after they received their prescription again, this time covered by their insurance. Other women found their relationships with their partners improve because they once again had control over their own lives and bodies. The list of improvements with Women’s Health Care, which includes contraception and abortion, are numerous.

As a side bonus from women rebelling against a Theocracy, at least in this scenario, gays gained marriage equality, receiving the same rights as hetero couples. They became able to adopt or acquire artificial insemination, so they could have a child.

Of course, this is all a “What if” fantasy with a happy ending, but again, if women cannot legally have access to birth control, abortion, and other women’s health care issues, saying no to sex and resorting vibrators, unless intercourse is too painful, is one option. Women will find ways to avoid pregnancy or even terminate a pregnancy, but they all want a safe and affordable means of acquiring it. Sexuality is part of being human or any other species for that matter, but for humans, pain, suffering, and/or pregnancy, which could lead to death, should not be a necessary consequence of sex.

We spay and neuter our pets, without thinking that “every sperm is sacred” for them, but yet, while a human fetus looks like any other animal fetus on the face of the earth, the Religious Reich thinks human fetuses are more special than any other animal fetus. This is pure ignorance of cell division and human development. Human fetuses are no more or less special than other animal fetuses, but it is dehumanizing and degrading to deny women proper medical care, which includes birth control and sometimes abortion.

Homosexuality has the bonus of not conceiving an unwanted child, but it is not a choice. No one, including the Church, should deny gay couples adoption or artificial insemination, if they decide they want a child. No one should deny gay couples the right to marry, just because they are not “one man and one woman”, either. This is also a form of oppressive control of others and a denial of human sexuality.

In reality, if all women did successfully deny men sex, then rapes would probably increase and the Religious Reich would blame the women, forcing them to give birth to their rapist’s baby. Their only hope is that the probe up their vagina, to do an ultra sound, raping them again, causes a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage), but ditching men is also an option for some women, if the Religious Reich succeeded in creating a Theocracy. In reality, such a scenario would be a true battle of the sexes, if not even all out war, especially among single women, divorced women, and gay women. The last group, who stayed with their husbands during such a rebellion, could potentially find the war less problematic.

Not only that, women do not find their sexuality by denying men sex and they do not just suddenly decide they are gay. Lastly, while some women leave the Church and announce they are gay, it is not something they suddenly choose either. They do not choose it, anymore than one chooses to be heterosexual or even asexual.

However, the fantasy of women rebelling against the Religious Reich is nice in regards to fighting a potential Theocracy, which enslaves women. Sadly, we have seen this attempt to enslave women through Theocracy for several months, if not years now.

Let us hope no state, or even the U.S. government, succeeds in passing such laws, concerning women, which only serve as Theocracy that enslaves women. Then women will have no need to rebel through any means they can creative conjure in their minds and enact. However, for true freedom, everyone needs the ability to either choose or earn their roles, not have roles forced upon them based on their gender or skin colour, which are the two main means of oppressing people, especially under religious laws.

All women, white, black, Latino, American Indian, gay, straight, transgender, Christian, Muslim, humanist/atheist/freethinker, as well as the men who care about them, need to stand up and fight the Theocracy the Religious Reich wants to force on us. We are all one and together our voices outnumber theirs greatly, so we can win this fight against religious oppression, so that we do not become a Theocracy that enslaves women.

The religious have no room to scream about oppression, especially when they are doing the oppression. No one is taking away their religious beliefs, but they cannot impose their religious laws on anyone through our government nor can they enslave anyone with their dogmas.
