Doing Good Works: Church Hands Out 25 Tons of Food

The Big Emory Baptist Church in Harriman, Tennessee, handed out 25 tons of food to people in need. Approximately 200 people received groceries.

The church viewed it as an opportunity to practice what Christ preached and to reach out to the non-churched community.

The church partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to make the event possible.
