Dalai Lama to Visit Taiwan

After Typhoon Morakot which killed over 700 people in Taiwan, the country will allow the Dalai Lama to visit and pray for the dead and wounded.

Taiwan had turned away the Dalai Lama last year for fear of upsetting China.

The Chinese government resolutely opposes the Dalai Lama's visit.
