User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars simple truths
I am clarifying what I thought I knew about Buddhism and its universality for peaceful living.

5 Stars It's all here!
I really didn't know anything about Buddhism before buying this book. It was very informative and explained everything I wanted to know. If you are like me and you're wondering what it's all about, I recommend this book. Buddhsm is not what you think, and you'll probably be finding yourself impressed. An excellent read.

5 Stars Just the facts…
If you are not looking for a deep spiritual experience and are looking for facts and history, then this is the book for you. I use it as a reference guide, and when I am confused about an idea. I will always have a purpose for it, and would recommend this book to anyone new to buddhism.

5 Stars Very Good
I had a passing knowledge of Buddhism at best but want to learn more about it and enoyed another book relating to meditation so I picked this one up. It is a very good book in terms of discussing Buddhism and Buddah and the belief system. As someone who is new to learning the subject I found this book helpful. Some sections I did have to read a couple of times to understand a bit better, but it was worthwhile and made me think.

2 Stars dull reading
I thought the writing was dull and mostly from a historial informationial point of view. The information was boring, and I did not retain much at all. At best the book could be used for refrence only. Much like reading a dictionary. If your desperate for reading, put it in your bathroom and take a peek every now and again.

  1. Martyr says:

"IN ORDER TO RECOGNIZE GOD AND TO BE ABLE TO APPROACH THE ESSENCE OF GOD, LEARN SPIRITUALISM, NO MATTER WHAT RELIGION OR SECT YOU BELONG TO"

A revolutionary message from HIS HOLINESS RIAZ AHMED GOHAR SHAHI to entire humanity:

A Muslim says that he is the best of all, whereas a Jew says that his status is better than that of a Muslim. A Christian says that he is better than both and even better than all the other religions because he is from the nation of the "Son of God" (Jesus).

    But Gohar Shahi says:
"The sublime and most elevated is the one, who has love of God in his heart, though he may not belong to any religion."

"The verbal chanting, praise and worship is proof of submission and obedience to God, whereas the Qalb meditation is the way to the Love of God and access to God."
