Evangelical pastor conducts "sexperiment" with wife on roof of church: suffers eye injury from the sun

Evangelical pastor Ed Young and his wife were channeling John Lennon and Yoko Ono when they decided to have a 24 hour "bed-in" to discuss truths about sex with their internet audience on the roof of their church.  Their website, "thesexperiment.com" explains:

For 24 hours, married couples and singles from around the world tuned in to watch Ed and Lisa Young brave the weather, and tell the world that we want to do marriage God's way.

Whether or not their message to have a healthy sex life with their spouse got through, one thing did–Young suffered a minor eye injury from exposure to the sun during the bed-in.   The Christian Post reports:

Dressed warmly, Ed and Lisa Young remained under a white comforter in bed on the roof of their Grapevine megachurch, conducting bedside interviews, talking via Skype with pastors and friends about sex in marriage from God’s perspective. But the eye injury forced the couple to take a break toward the last few hours, ahead of their scheduled 6 a.m. CST ending time on Saturday.

The live streaming of the 24-hour bed-in carried on, however, with volunteers taking over in the absence of the pastor couple.
