Friday the 13th seemed like a good time to get in on Tebow-mania to some Salem witches who sought to "neutralize" Time Tebow and help Tom Brady and the Patriots for Saturday's game. It appears to have worked as the Patriots dominated the Broncos 45-10 in the AFC playoffs:
Sports Illustrated reports that "Brady threw six touchdown passes, five in the first half, putting the Patriots into the AFC championship game and silencing the nationwide frenzy surrounding Tebow."
CBS Boston reports that the Salem witches were simply offering a prayer. “Tebow is praying to the Gods, and we, the Witches of Salem will pray for the entire New England Patriots team and raise the energy in their honor to maximize an outstanding performance,” Salem Witch Lorelei said.
That old black magic seems to have had the Patriots under their spell.
