If the Buddha Dated A Handbook for Finding Love on a Spiritual Path

In this practical, playful, yet spiritual guide, Charlotte Kasl, author of the highly successful Finding Joy: 101 Ways to Free Your Spirit and Dance with Life, shows you what it would be like to have the ancient wisdom of the Buddha to guide you through the dating process.
Kasl brings a compassionate understanding to the anxiety and uneasiness of new love, and helps readers discover their potential for vibrant human connection based on awareness, kindness, and honesty. She approaches the dating process as a means for awakening, reminding us that when we live by spiritual rules, we bring curiosity and a light heart to the romantic journey.
Filled with quotations from Zen, Sufi, and other wisdom traditions, and informed by the experiences of people from all walks of life, here is a relationship book that will appeal to readers looking for more than a Venus-meets-Mars solution to the complex affairs of the heart.

5 Stars The Best!
This is literally THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!! I am a 33 year old woman, have read many books but this one just did it for me. I felt as though the author was speaking directly to me. This has become my official "go to" book. I plan to read purchase more books from this author. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of this book!
5 Stars Best relationship book, EVER!!!
This book is excellent–I couldn't put it down. I felt such gratitude for the author throughout the entire process of reading it. She shares great insights and practical exercises. This book is wonderful for people not only looking for a relationship, but people already in one. It helps a person define what is important to them and changes that may need to be made on the path to spiritual fulfillment. It is not particularly religious, but does give an excellent description of Buddhism in the beginning of the book. It is very spiritual. We are spiritual beings, shouldn't our relationships feed our spirits and encourage growth on a spiritual path? I highly recommend this book!
5 Stars best book to read regarding how to approach and be in relationships, on the path or not
insightful and informative .. an excellent discourse on "romantic love" and relationships for those on the spiritual path (and for those who aren't) … trash all the other "dating guides" .. the best way to approach any relationship is with compassion, kindness, openness, trust, and honesty … the ultimate way to find the most compatible partner is to be your authentic self … no gimmicks, no games. you'll learn how to do that with this book.
5 Stars For personal and professional use!
As a life coach, I am always looking for great books to help me in my own growth and to pass on to clients who might benefit from them. I found _If the Buddha Dated_ to be an extraordinary book that not only deals with the modern complexities of relationships, but also the tenets of Buddhism.
This book helped me understand basics of the Buddhist philosophy of being present. Previously, I was very concerned with the past and future, never satisfied in the present. I read a few of the very small chapters of this book every night to keep me grounded. I have more complex books on Buddhism, but this is the one I read daily. It's also great for dating; but on a larger scale, the lessons relate to relationships with any of the people we deal with.
Kasl's style is easy and quick-reading. She provides relative examples and stories from her own and clients' lives. The things that distract me are the quotes. I understand and appreciate them, but they don't seem to be in the right place in the text for me.
I highly recommend this book.
