Earthquakes in diverse places? Pastor says Oklahoma earthquake is sign of the end times

For those of you in Oklahoma who believe the end times is upon us, Pastor Paul Begley has put out a classic video concerning the Oklahoma earthquake. 

He is very animated, starts out with his trademark line "ARE YOU SERIOUS??" and goes on about how this is an "earthquake in diverse place" so this is a sign of the Last Days.   "Us Bible prophecy preachers, who stand on the Word of God" claim the Bible predicts everything from the war in Iraq to dead birds and fish earlier in 2011.

He doesn't just focus on the Oklahoma earthquake.  He talks about everything from Iran to NATO to Chrislam. "ARE YOU SERIOUS?? Jesus isn't going to be coming back with Mohammed like Batman and Robin!"

Then we are treated to a rendition of Begley singing "That's the Reason God Made Oklahoma," followed by Begley quoting scripture after scripture and he goes back to talking about prophecy and the Middle East.  He seesaws between Oklahoma and Israel for a good portion of the video.   He gets particularly excited about the aftershocks of the Oklahoma earthquake.   Then he skips over to DC and the Washington Monument which was cracked by the earthquake of DC–"We're talking about the Washington Monument folks!!"  All these things, he says, are prophesied by the Bible.

The USGS says Oklahoma is no stranger to earthquakes. The Meers faultline runs from central Oklahoma to northwest Oklahoma, and the state has a history of earthquakes back to 1811.

All these, Begley says, are just the beginning of sorrows.  Oklahoma, you're a harbinger of the end times, with your earthquake in a diverse place.

    we are all entitled to our own beliefs but the Earth was here before us and it will be here after us…If you have nothing to live for most of us do. people been saying the end of times for years and me I'm sick of it. if you don't want to live then kill yourself. stop preaching your negative views among the masses. Our American troops are dying everyday and no one makes videos talking about them. May the people who experienced the earthquake be safe and out of harms way. For the Earthquakes stop ridding the world of its fossil fuels for greed and profit. You take the thing that the earth needs to cool off then it will a way to cool itself off. stop creating things that are known to cause an effect on the world.

    This dude needs to learn about science. Yes, OK can and does have earthquakes just like anywhere else in the world. He needs to learn where the various fault lines are in the U.S. and then examine them scientifically and not with mythology. Superstition only feeds fear, but knowledge is power.

      Sorry Mel, that just does not cut it. There actually is a fault line there and fracking is contributing to it going off and it is not a sign of judgment day. Try pulling out a science book once in a while.

    Did you know that there has been exactly 188 days between earthquakes that are over 4.6 for a couple years now. The next one is dur Mar.22nd-23rd. We'll see if this amounts to anything. The scientisits are predicting the Aleusien Islands off the coast of Alaska, I'm predicting a little closer to Seattle. It's all in God's hands though. We must pray for our nation to turn back to Christianity and morals. We are destroying ourselves with sin and every form of evil satan has ever concocted. Please ask Christ to forgive you and ask him into your life. He will come in and commune with you. What a loving Savior. He has changed my heart forever.
