Christians Burnt to Death in Pakistan

Christian minorities in Pakistan protested against sectarian violence that saw seven burnt alive in their homes at the weekend.

One the seven lives that were lost this weekend was a young child. The family was hiding in one room and could not get out as flames surrounded them.

The trouble began when Christians were accused of desecrating a copy of the Qoran, which is a crime punishable by death in Pakistan. However, the allegations were baseless.

Christians protested against the killings across the country.
