German prosecutors charge suspected Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk with helping to kill about 28 000 Jews during World War Two. The 89-year-old was deported to Germany from the United States.
Due to Demjanjuk's age and frail health, the trial will be limited to two 90-minute sessions per day. The trial will be held in Munich, but it is not known when it will start.
Some of the questions that will be investigated will be whether Demjanjuk was forced to participate in the crimes. Demjanjuk denies any role in the holocaust.
