French Anti-Semitic Murderer Sentenced to Life Imprisonment

A French court sentenced the leader of a Paris gang called "The Barbarians" to life in prison for an anti-Semitic murder that shocked France with its brutality.

Youssouf Fofana admitted in court to the kidnap, torture and murder of a young Jewish man, Ilan Halimi, in 2006.

The lawyer representing the victim and his family was glad that the court acknowledged the anti-semitic nature of the crime.
