An unmanned experimental military aircraft known as "Hale-D" created a bit of a stir after its top-secret flight was spotted and mistaken for a UFO.
The airship was being tested by Lockheed Martin for the military. Its blimp-like interior was filled with communications equipment used for surveillance.
The aircraft was expected to hover in an area above Eastern Central, Ohio at about 60,000 feet for an extended period of time. It was then supposed to land at the Harrison County airport, but veered off course and came down in Pennsylvania sooner than expected.
Once it was launched, News Channel 7 started receiving calls from people in the Ohio Valley reporting that they were seeing a UFO.
