Antichrist to Come from America, Warns Christian Scholar

Vishal MangalwadiA Christian scholar named Vishal Mangalwadi, referred to as "India's foremost Christian intellectual" by Christianity Today, warns that the antichrist may come from America, according to The Christian Post.

"Mangalwadi uses the term antichrist as a spirit of the evil one that captures political and economic power and becomes oppressive and totalitarian," according to The Christian Post, quoting him as saying,

If America does not return to the Bible as the cultural authority – having influence over the Congress, over the courts, over the universities – if that does not happen, then the antichrist in the 21st century will come from America.

He says that secular humanism is turning America into a kingdom under Satan, in his video warning about the destruction of America. He says that the church needs to "retake education from secular humanism" and that the classroom needs to be in the church.

Vishal Mangalwadi is promoting an "education revolution" on his website, Revelation Movement.

I sometimes feel like going down on my knees thanking the good lord himself for the liberating influence of secular humanistic ideals in the twentieth and twenty first century: A heretic like me, publicly denying the resurrection of the lord would have no chance of survival with people like this VASHLI MANAGLALAVA-WHATCHAMA-CALL-HIS-NAME in charge of affairs; its sickening to think that there are so many "great christian intellectuals" out there who would have us return to the good old days of burning dissenters at the stake

Some of his sermons are quite intellectual about reincarnation, Eastern beliefs, etc. However, his attitude about secular humanists shows that he has the same bizarre ideas of Christian nationalism as the dominionists. I am equally as grateful for secular humanist values as you, JohnThomas. His talk about putting education in the hands of Christian churches is appalling.

"Mangalwadi uses the term antichrist as a spirit of the evil one that captures political and economic power and becomes oppressive and totalitarian…

People like him obviously do not see what I see…hahahaha!!!

    The historical record proves that…

#1. Various religions have captured political and economic power of various Countries.

#2. When #1. happens the Countries generally always become oppressive and/or totalitarian.

#3. When both #1. and #2. happen, the enforcement of mass murder of those opposed to religion becomes commonplace.

    In conclusion I say this… …

The very idea that he and others of his kind do not seem able to grasp is… …

    "Religion" IS the "Anti-Christ"

When the anti-Christ arrives, he or she shall be wrapped in the American Flag, and holding the Bible.

Good thing I'm doing my best to repent and ask the Creator, the Son and the Holy Spirit to forgive me of all my sins.

Public education was started in this country(NewYork) by protestants for the sole purpose of enabling Bible reading. The Catholic church didn't like that and pushed for legislation to stop public money for religious related education. If you compare our academic record to the time line of legislation removing prayer, ten commandments, and the Bibles influence, You cannot deny the trend down academically is tied directly to antiGod sentiment. Like it or not Christian schools out perform public schools, for alot less money spent per student, even though a large portion attending these private schools are there because they were kicked out of public school.

Anti-Christ is mentioned four times in the Bible. It is always plural and always in reference to the unbelievers. The Anti-Christ has been in America even before it was America.

It's too bad that the christ and the anti-christ don't meet and mutually annihilate like all matter. That would be awesome!

The Protestant Reformation was based on two major themes:
    1) Justification by Faith and
    2) the Papal system was the Antichrist.

This was believed by most protestants up until the 1930's and 40's. Then a concerted effort changed that belief in most evangelical and fundamentalist churches to that of a single future individual who would rise from Europe, or Israel, etc. Even the Epistle Dedicatory in the KJV mentions that the KJV translation 'hath given such a blow to that man of sin', i.e., the Papacy.
Whatever one believes or doesn't believe about the antichrist, the historical record is firm; Luther and all the other major reformers indicted Papacy as the Antichrist and the Catholic Church as Babylon the Great.
Just in case you all did not know that.

WEll, almost all people I know are wondering why the Congress is behaving in such an abnormal way, passing bills we dont need, spending our money like it is water, putting cameras up everywhere, trying to rewrite our history. WE do not like what is going on in DC and it appears to me, evil has influenced our Congress and they do not listen to their people. So, I agree, the man in office may be the one spoken about in revelations, since he cannot even prove he was born in America. No one knows anything about him because he is so ashamed of his past, he has had his records locked up. He sure doesnt look like an average american to me, and he doesnt represent my Christian values or the values of our country.

ROFL! Secular humanism hasn't done anything. It is the Xian anarchists who are going to destroy this country. They are already starting to destroy it.
