Wesak Greetings

Yesterday was Wesak (Vesak), the most important day in Buddhism.

Wesak falls on the full moon of May. Dating back approximately 2600 years, three important events happened:

Prince Siddhartha, the Buddha-to-be was born;
35 years later, on the same day, Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment; and
On his 80th birthday, the Buddha passed away.

The Children of MHDC, Mettananda Vihara, Penang convey their short message of joy and happiness of Wesak via this special YouTube video.
