National Day of Prayer Scaled Back at the White House


Citing the Freedom from Religion Foundation's lawsuit involving the separation of church and state, the White House is scaling back the National Day of Prayer activities. While President Obama has signed a declaration acknowledging the National Day of Prayer, activities at the White House for the event have been scaled back to pre-George W. Bush years. The administration has asked for a dismissal of the Freedom from Religion Foundation's lawsuit.
