Republican Congressman Trembles Over Scriptural Warning

Georgia's Congressman Paul Braun "trembles" over  a scriptural warning reading, "Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."  According to the American Family Association's filtered news service, Braun says God's lament in the Bible's book of Hosea — "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" — applies to Americans today.

 

Braun has a "4-way test" that he says he follows before voting on any legislation.  That test, according to his website, is as follows (the words in red appear on the One News Now website):

  • 1) Is it Right/Moral in the Judeo-Christian sense?
  • 2) Is it Constitutional?
  • 3) Is it Necessary?
  • 4) Is it Affordable?
