The "prayer generals" and followers of the Christian dominionist group Generals International have been writing to their prophet, Cindy Jacobs over the events transpiring in Egypt (see video below).
One of the commonly asked questions was whether the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse was seen in news footage of the riots in Cairo last month. The staff at Generals International analyzed the MSNBC clip and concluded that it was made from an effect from the fire and camera. However, they weren't willing to dismiss possible supernatural causes.
"We need to put into prayer factor about what does this mean," Jacobs advised. Jacobs and her prophets believe that that "we are in pre-Armageddon period with the wars and rumors of wars" and that we are in a "tipping point" for great awakenings and revivals or devastation.
She went on to analyze the MSNBC footage:
"Let's go back a minute to that clip about the green horse. I don't know if this was a natural phenomena or if we should say this was from the passage Revelation 6:8, but we should pray about it. It's very disturbing as we read this passage. It says, "So I looked and behold a pale horse, and the name of who sat on it was Death and Hades followed with him, and powers given to them over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, with hunger, with death and by the beat of the earth.'
"It was interesting. There was a link sent to to me that said that one of the biblical translations of this word according to Robinson's Lexicon mean pale green like the color of the first shoots of grass. In other words, this pale horse actually was a pale green horse and the color here would be appropriate to denote the reign of death [...]
"Many people are buzzing about this, there's a lot on the web, end time prophets speaking about this. I don't have a word about that except I would say that it is possible that it could be a supernatural phenomenon. We do not know, but we do know that the situation is very very dire in Egypt."
Jacobs added that Isaiah 19 seems to prophecy that Egypt would be under a cruel leader and "a highway of holiness" would built between Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Iran and that there would be "an alliance all the way to Israel."
"I feel again it can be mitigated against through prayer," Jacobs assured her audience and laying out a point-by-point prayer plan culminating with a decree for young Christians to blast their message out over Internet social networking platforms. "I'm always for prayer and I believe that God wants to bring a wonderful harvest of souls."
Jacobs teaches Christian dominionist theology. Her group, Generals International, is a "featured member" of Awakening 2011 which is sponsoring a conference featuring Christian dominionists and right wing Christian pastors, as well as Republican speakers and politicians who want to shape the course of American policy, such as Newt Gingrich, Ken Blackwell, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, Rep. Allen West, Sen. Marco Rubio, Rep. Michele Bachmann and Rep. Mike Pence. This group is also joined by people like Lou Engle, who has been accused of supporting the "kill the gays bill" in Uganda. The organizer of this event, Mat Staver, has been invited by Rep. Michele Bachmann to teach one of her Tea Party classes.
