The Texas State Board of Education is considering this week the adoption of a school science curriculum that would give teachers in Texas schools textbooks that challenge the basic tenets of evolution.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Board's chairperson Don McLeroy sees this as a positive development. McLeroy believes that God created the earth less than 10,000 years ago.
