Idol Worship Used to Convert Hindus

According to Express News Service, a Catholic priest has been charged with idol worship in order to attract Hindus to the faith.

Father Joseph Menengis, priest of St James Church in Mariyannapalya, Bangalore, confessed before the Justice B K Somashekara Commission of Inquiry that idol worship was being performed in churches despite their ban in the bible. The priest justified the practice by saying that the goal of Christians is to convert non-Christians in whatever way necessary.
