A Bundle of Christian Dominionist Prayers To Take Over the Business/Economic 'Mountain' — Keynesian economics to be replaced with 'Biblical economics'

Generals International, a group led by "apostle" and "prophet" Cindy Jacobs, sent out an email alert last night concerning praying over "the Business/Economic Mountain" as part of the "United States Reformation Prayer Network."  Christian dominionists seek to take over what they call "7 Mountains" of culture in all nations so that a kingdom is prepared for Jesus' return.

According to Jacobs,

A few months ago, the Lord spoke a dire prophetic warning concerning America's iniquitous structures, our desperate need to turn back to the Lord, and the devastating impact to our economy that will ensue, should we fail to respond appropriately within God's given window of time. It was in response to that prophetic warning that I felt led to call the nation to these 40 days of fasting and prayer leading up to the elections.

She then goes on to list websites to visit for recommended prayer focus information, such as:

• The Family Research Council (www.frc.org) – This is Tony Perkins' group, known for its stance against gays and abortion.  Here's a list of Perkins' and FRC's top 12 lies.

• Faith2Action (www.f2a.org) – This is Janet Porter's group.  Porter's two radio networks dropped her radio show due to her Christian dominionist theology.

• Wallbuilders (www.wallbuilders.com) – This is history revisionist David Barton's organization.  Learn more about Barton here.

Here are some highlights from the alert:

After a time of prayer and reflection upon the current state of the nation, I heard the Lord say: "If the Church doesn't fast and pray for a faster acceleration of revival and awakening, the iniquitous sin structures in the nation will tip the scale that is teetering and there will be another great depression."

The prophet Joel admonishes us to "Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity." It is for this very reason that He gives such warnings to His prophets.

God is calling forth an army of intercessory foot soldiers-those who will not only pray, but act! We must mobilize the Body of Christ to vote in accordance with Biblical values in the upcoming elections. The balance of the economy is fragile and depending on the way we fast, pray, and how we cast our votes in the next election will depend on which way the scale tips.

I believe with all of my heart that it is not God's will for the economy to take a turn and spiral downward into another great depression. He still wants to answer from heaven and pour out His mercy upon us as a nation and heal our land.

Some of the prayer points:

• Repent for killing of over 51 million consumers from the baby buster generation through abortion, which is the root cause to our current economic problems since we live in a consumer-driven economy.
• Repent for operating out of mindset of fear, scarcity and dependence upon government promoted by liberal ideology (Keynesian economics.) Ask God for a paradigm shift to one of Kingdom abundance and Biblical economics.
• Pray against the rising tide of Islamic influence in our banking and financial systems through Shari'ah Law and Financial Jihad. Shari'ah-friendly contracts and loan agreements contribute 5% of their proceeds to Muslim charities, many of which support radical Islam and terrorism.
• Pray for the election of new governmental leaders in November who have God's heart and fresh ideas and strategies to stabilize the economy in the short-run and shift it in the long-run.
• Ask God to intervene to stop the passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act bill, which will infringe upon the freedoms of religion, speech and association of employers and employees.
• Pray that God will release wisdom and creativity in the midst of the shaking – to shift the wealth of nations into the hands of the righteous. More millionaires were created during the Great Depression than at any other time in American history.
