A Diary of a Former Communist Freely Available Online

This website is devoted to discussion of religions. Does it mean that my first post will be rejected by the moderator? I hope not. What I have to share does deal with religion but it is not the main topic. I am a retired nuclear physicist whose life was rather unusual. Born in Poland (in 1931) I was educated in the USSR, Poland, France, and the USA.

Some of you will probably be interested in my recently-published autobiography. By the way, this is not a commercial advertising; my book is freely available ON-LINE. No one is making money on it.  The book describes my slow evolution from one extreme to another–from a devoted atheistic Stalinist to an active religious anti-communist. This testimony is based on a diary I kept between 1946 and 2004 (in the USSR, Poland, France and the USA).

The title of my book is “Diary of a Former Communist: Thoughts, Feelings, Reality.”

The link to it is http://csam.montclair.edu/~kowalski/life/intro.html

The book is organized spirally, first the entire content is described in just one paragraph. Then it is described in one chapter (Chapter 1). The rest of the book consists of extracts from my diary and of components added to explain things. Chapter 16, added recently, is work in progress.

Please send information about my book to those who might be interested. And I have  another link to share; please send it to history teachers you know

It is a resource for those who teach modern history and sociology.

Thank you in advance,

Ludwik Kowalski, Ph.D.
