This video from 1947 shows the propaganda tactics used by the Nazis, such as discriminatory views of foreign faiths, attacks on minorities and so forth. It is quite interesting, particularly in light of the Christian Nationalism that is becoming so prevalent in American right wing politics today.
Gambling with other people's liberties ultimately resulted in everyone losing their liberties. The video presents the notion that when one minority was effectively singled out, the Nazis came into power through a chain reactions.
Truth was resisted and in five years, college education dropped 53%. "One party, one nation and one religion" was promoted to a fragmented society. Some of the churches tried to speak out against what was happening but were quickly punished.
