The Church Lady Gets a New Attorney

Convicted killer Mary Jane Fonder, aka The Church Lady, has a new attorney. She was back in a Bucks County court today because her public defender wanted off the case.

Fonder shot and killed Rhonda Smith last year. She was jealous because Smith, 42, was getting emotional and financial support from the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Springfield, Pa. Fonder is serving a life sentence. Now she has a new attorney to see her through the appeals process.
