What happens after we die?
The acclaimed medium takes his talents to new levels and new countries! For After Life, John and a documentary crew traveled to Australia and across the United States, where he demonstrated once again that grief, healing, and hope are eternally intertwined. He answers his fans' most-asked questions about the mediumship process and how it works, while revealing his own personal life as a husband and new father. Edward also shares what he’s learned through his own personal losses and demonstrates that it’s never too late to forgive…and never too far away to love.
John also connects with celebrities both here and on the other side.

3 Stars Very interesting books
What Did Jesus Really Say-How Christianity Went Astray: [What To Say To A Born Again Christian Fundamentalist, But Never Had The Information] — by Peter Cayce [2005]
I've been watching John Edward via satellite on various programs for many years. I'm generally a skeptic who is open to what he does, but I have always found him to be genuine. I honestly believe he can do what he says he does. I've watched audience members respond with genuine emotion. Real tears, so I don't buy the notion that audience members are staged. That was an argument I heard early on with John Edward. Yes, I really believe him to the real deal. This book simply reinforces that notion. But as always, John Edward is most impressive in person.
I also read another book that touches on some of the themes in John Edward's book. Don't let the title mislead you. Peter Cayce's book discusses issues related to the afterlife as well as reincarnation, etc. I found this book to be equally interesting. Let me see if I can insert an Amazon link. This review box seems to indicate that I can do this. Again, I recommend both books. Definitely worth reading.

5 Stars John is a blessing
I have read several of John's books and seen him live. His writing is a natural extension of his gift and his goal for us all to validate the loved ones we have here with us before it is too late. John's sense of humor, quick wit, and love for his clients shines through in After Life as he describes some of the wonderful readings he has done and for the first time discusses his relationship, or lack thereof with his father. Anyone interested in John's work, mediumship, or simply psychic phenomenon in general should pick up After Life by John Edward.
5 Stars John Edward: A Wonder
John Edward is extraordinary. I've read everything he's written but his tv show was awesome. When he was on Larry King Live he bowled me over with his amazing talents but what's even more psychic abilities via the telephone. Even skeptic Larry King's jaw dropped. So this book puts things into perspective as Mr. Edward tells a great deal about himself, his childhood and the steps along the way to his rise to celebrity status.
5 Stars Good Read
Internationally acclaimed Psychic Medium John Edward has done an excellent job of providing a semi-bio of himself in order to explain to newbies who he is and what he does. He also chronicles his two-week Australia seminar tour (January 2003). The account from his Houston, Texas seminar dealing with the Space shuttle explosion and his premonition experience that was documented was interesting. I also thought he did great job of sharing information of the reading that was done with famous singer Aaliyah's mother after she died in a plane crash. The chapter titled 9/11 Factor had my undivided attention.
The book is a page turner and if you are a believer, you will appreciate John Edward for being so open and candid. If you are a non-believer, John provides enough information for you to perhaps re-think why you did not believe or maybe you will seek a reputable Psychic Medium to see how your reading will turn out and if you are able to connect with your family or friends that are on "the other side".
I have had a reading before and John's account of how the process goes was exactly correct. The book contained just about what I expected until I reached the last chapter. The final tenth chapter reveals an unexpected topic of the strained relationship with his father. This chapter was so personal and heartfelt. I am sure that it must have been therapy to include such a personal account from his life.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading some of John's other books. Page 21 contained a word of wisdom from the author: "We can't constantly look for validations from the Other Side every step we take or we'll miss all the little joys of the life on this side".
4 Stars For those who want to know more…
While I enjoyed this book, it doesn't answer the questions most people are looking for and the reason they may have selected to read this book… For those answers, you will want to read Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls—both by Dr. Michael Newton. (See links below.)
