Fox Interviews Father Who Wants Biology Book Banned

A couple days ago, a story broke about a father in Knox County, Tennessee, who wants a high school biology book banned because it describes the Biblical creation story as a myth. Clearly sympathetic to the man's claim that the textbook is biased against Christianity, Fox News interviewed Kurt Zimmerman, the Sunday school teacher and parent who wants the book banned.

    People like this dad do not have a right to their own facts. To ban a biology text book on the basis of theology is ignorance, and as Thomas Jefferson said, If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." That's probably why creationists like this dad who are in control of the Texas state school board want to ban Jefferson from the curriculum.
