Atheists Helping the Homeless and the ReBiblican Dominionists – March 18 on GodDiscussion Radio

After Adam, the Man of Earth, and Deborah review the news of the week, we'll kick off the God Discussion show with Joe Zamecki, Texas Director of American Atheists, who will give us an update on the Atheists Helping the Homeless program in Austin. The effort has expanded, with an improved variety of "self help" care packages given to Austin's homeless people.

Charity is not the sole domain of religion … which Atheists Helping the Homeless is proving. Even if it's a dollar or two, every bit helps. Visit the atheism volunteer site today for more information and to chip in.

What are the "ReBiblicans" up to? Revisions to Texas' school books are a prime example of fulfillment of "the 7 Mountains Mandate" of the Christian political dominionists.

Leah Burton, a prolific blogger, soon-to-be-published author and former lobbyist will join us again to share her insight about the dominionist movement. With the 2010 elections gearing up to be a hotly contested battle zone in the "culture wars," this is a critical subject for anyone who is interested in separation of church and state issues.

The last time Leah was on the show, there was a tremendous amount of interest and questions, so we were unable to cover everything in two hours. This promises to be an interesting, eye-opening show.
