Shiites Protest Life on Baath Party Ban

Thousands of Iraqi Shi'ite Muslims rallied in Baghdad and Basra against lifting a ban on Saddam Hussein's outlawed Baath party. Observers are concerned that lifting the ban may reignite sectarian violence.

Shite Muslims promise to boycott the election of the ban is lifted.
