Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, Others Rush to Aid Haiti

Pat Robertson's comments do not reflect the views of the entire Christian community.  Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army and many other churches have stepped to the plate to help how they can.  The balance the story about Robertson carried this morning, here are some examples of Christian charity.

Yesterday, Baltimore-based Catholic Relief Services said it is sending more staff to Haiti to help the impoverished country recover from a devastating earthquake. (The video will load in a few seconds.)

The Salvation Army's director of disaster services, Bob Poff, says he was driving down a mountainside when the 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. Poff says he had never been so scared in his life.
