lovely to see that there exist books telling the truth. if this is Jesus The Book or The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of the Christ Within You (2 Volume Set). all tell us about a truth which is there ready to come alive again. also books like The Lost Years of Jesus: Documentary Evidence of Jesus' 17-Year Journey to the East or The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ are fundamental to break through what tried to hold us back for centuries… but the truth is there and out. and thanks to this book of yogananda it comes to live again! a fanatstic book that re-connects you with what truly makes you happy!

"The Second Coming of Christ" is the best book I've read to date. It was inspirational from start to finish and a hard book to put down. Anyone who is consistant in daily meditation will be able to find the truths presented in Paramahansa Yogananda's book on the teachings of Jesus, and find the Christ within. Christ consciousness is the projected consciousness of God immanent in all creation; The cosmic intellegence of Spirit everywhere. This consciousness can be felt as one with God in deep meditation.
This is the last paragraph of the book:
"May Christ come into your consciousness a second time as prosperity, as health, as the perception and fullfillment of all your hopes in the divine consciousness. And may Christ come to you in finding divine love through the perfection of your love in some human relationship, and in finding omnipresence (the property of being present everywhere) in your human consciousness. May Christ come, bringing you infinite bliss, infinite wisdom, infinite joy. He is born in the cradle of your heart. May Christ come to you a second time in the vibration of your body as the Aum (Amen) (that aspect of the Godhead which creates and sustains all things) of which all bodies, all universes, have been created. 4 Stars Excellent book on Christ Consciousness
Yogananda was a very advanced soul and I'm sure his spirit guides many. This book guides many people in understanding the Christ Within, within one's soul & heart. It gives Christians and everyone a mystical journey into the life and works of Jesus Christ from an Eastern mystical view. This book helps one understand that the Second Coming of Christ and the Resurrection can also be experienced within us now, the Coming of Christ within the Temple of one's soul and the Resurrection to the Newness of a life in Christ. Beautifully worded, well researched with scriptural references and just all around a must read for anyone wanting to advance along the Spiritual Path.
5 Stars Don't Hesitate to Meditate
I saw the title for my entry on a bumper sticker in Berkeley back around 1970. I am thinking it appropriate because the veracity of the The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of the Christ Within You will be evident to anyone who has become enlightened and them meditated daily to evolve as a human being. The Paramahansa Yogananda commentary on the New Testament is valuable as a bridge for Christians to the practice of meditation and esoteric teachings that I believe were lost when Christianity was twisted around to meet the needs of the rulers of the Holy Roman Empire, for instance to booster the divine right of kings around 500 AD. At that point the idea was not what one received from God as a direct communication for human development, but about what God was purported to say as told by religious leaders and the Emperor. Got to keep all those peasants in line so a lot of important information was conveniently dropped. The unfortunate upshot of that after the Reformation was a trying to will oneself through intellectual faith and a great load of guilt into being a good Christian without the techniques to directly access God's wisdom and guidance and to understand what Christ was really trying to teach us. The psychological guilt and misunderstanding was too much for an honest seeker and many left Christianity because they would have to repress the very feelings and propensities that needed inspection through meditation in order to evolve spiritually. After fifteen centuries Paramahansa Yogananda's two-volume book brings the Christian full circle back to the original teachings of Christ. In fact after four decades, I can now say that I am a Christian again.
5 Stars Coming of Christ
The book is well written. It presents more sensable and acceptable interpretations of Jesus' teachings, his life and their place in our present day life. I have been meditating for 34 years and have gained a lot of this understanding thru my own experiences. It's important to have this information available to the general public, especially for those who have no clue about their lives.
