Ordered one of these for me and one for my niece.

This is a very spirtual book that should help most to adjust our lifes to what is important.

Tolle has taken excerpts from The Power of Now that highlight exercises and meditations in his book. It's like lifting those portions you might have highlighted in what some have found to be a book too deep to follow. For those readers this basic book is much easier to understand, absorb and practice. That reader might later want to return to The Power of Now for deeper insight. I've been practicing principles of mindfulness for a few years and aftr I started reading Tolle's books I lost my job, then lost renter from the house I moved from and now will proceed with bankruptcy and foreclosure. Staying in the Now has been critical in my peaceably finding my way through this situation (still unemployed). I pick up this book daily to maintain focus and receive constant encouragement. A New Earth expands on both of these books.

5 Stars Good stuff.
I have read The Power of Now and A New Earth, and have since bought Practicing the Power of Now and Stillness Speaks and am halfway through each. I have to tell you, I am changing. Something has happened, and I am not afraid anymore. It took more than just reading one book. I had to keep flooding myself with these teachings and practicing them. At first I agreed with the words but I didn't feel the peace, at least not for long. I would read and feel it but the teachings would recede quickly to the back of my mind, allowing the usual judgments and fear to come to the front. These little hardbound books are just what I wanted, a rapid insertion of wisdom into my cluttered perception. If you have felt that Eckhart Tolle really does have something special in his explanation of who we are and how to find peace, than you should keep collecting his books. Or just have one and read it as many times as it takes, until you really get it. Eckhart didn't invent this stuff, it's everywhere from Jesus to the Buddha to dozens of other contemporary spiritual teachers. Tolle just teaches the priniciples in a way that sinks in for me. These principles are true; I know because I have found peace. It's awesome. Maybe the best thing that ever happened to me.

4 Stars Get it NOW!
A few years ago, I attempted to read Tolle's book "Power of Now", and just couldn't get through it. I decided to try listening to it instead, and it makes such a difference! I have listened to it several times, and always find something new to think about. This set has a way of fitting into what you need to hear NOW, which varies from day to day. There's truly something for everyone. It does take a little getting used to as you are listening to Tolle's voice, but once you do, you don't even notice his accent and his voice is very soothing.

In my opinion this is a useful daily tool for all those who follow Tolle's work. If one follows these simple practices diligently the reader will obtain most from the writer's books . The writing is clear ,the directions are simple and I can only recommend it highly providing the reader has read and grasped the concept i 'The Power of Now'
