5 Stars A Good Read for Christians…..
I just finished the book the other night – Highly recommended! It tells of one person's miracle of life after a serious auto accident and the struggles along his recovery process. Don tells of the miracles in his life and the one that brought him back from being legally dead. He writes of his after death experiences. Written in a documentary style and told by First Person Don Piper through his struggles. Highly Recommended and A Good Read for Christians……
2 Stars Preachy
This book could have been better if the author explored other explanations for his experience. Instead, he uses the book to preach to others about his views of Christianity. The narrative jumps around too much as well. I am only halfway through and cannot get myself to finish the book.
For a less "mainstream Christianity" view of the afterlife, try "Journey of Souls: Case Studies of life between Lives" by Michael Newton.
5 Stars excellent book
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I know because of an experience some years ago, that the soul lives after the death of the body. This only reinforces what I already believe.

5 Stars Excellent Book – A Must Read
After hearing about Don Piper's story from several members of my Church family, I had to buy this book. I am not much of a reader. As a matter of fact, I would almost say that I do not like to read. Once I started reading Don Piper's story I couldn't put it down. His testimony is a real blessing. I have read this book over and over again. I would highly recommend that everyone read this book.
5 Stars A glimpse of Heaven
I purchased this book after my mother had read and recommended it to me. I am so glad she did. As one who has been up and down (mostly down) in my Christian faith, this book offered me a glimpse of the rewards that lie ahead for those who trust in and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Many might debate whether the events described actually happened or were just a man's dream. I choose to believe and it has rekindled the fire within me that I am thanking God for. Granted, we should serve God for the peace and joy it can bring into our lives while still on Earth, but oh what a promise to look forward to. I highly recommend this book.

Well these kind of stories are scattered all over the plant. Almost in every country and under developed countries you will be able to hear such stories.
Such kind of stories or reality whatever you says forced us to believe in god. I know there must be some power who is running this whole world smoothly.
I saw this kind of incidence on Discovery Channel, National Grographic and other channel. They have done very in-depth research on this and that's why I believe on this.
First there was Journey of Souls, then Destiny of Souls. Now there is a new book in the Life Between Lives series called Memories of the Afterlife. Edited by Michael Newton, Memories explores 32 things that happen when you die. It's a good book and Piper should be congratulated for sharing his Near Death Experience. Only readers should be aware of one serious mistake he makes in the book which is to jump from hearing songs praising Jesus and meeting fellow Christians in heaven to religious fundamentalism. Research of Near Death Experiences show that there is no evidence to support that heaven is exclusively for Christians, or a narrow interpretation of the Bible, as experiences of heaven happen in all cultures and religions. Cross cultural studies of Near Death Experiences show that the Golden Rule truly means that we must love our neighbor – even if this person is of another faith – and "hell" is not something we can simply throw around when we disagree with people.
