Gov Doyle Dismissed from National Day of Prayer Case

Wisconsin's Governor Jim Doyle was dismissed as a defendant in the federal separation of church and state case involving the National Day of Prayer.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation sued on the grounds that the event is unconstitutional.  Other defendants, who include President Obama, Shirley Dobson and others, continue to be parties to the lawsuit, which is set to be heard on May 6.
