The Mayan Code Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind

Bestselling author Barbara Hand Clow shows how the Mayan Calendar is a bridge to galactic wisdom that fosters personal growth and human evolution
• Unearths the meaning behind the calendar, its message for modern civilization, and what will happen when the calendar ends
• Reveals how time acceleration is a manifestation of the acceleration of consciousness
• By the author of The Pleiadian Agenda
Many researchers have investigated the science of time cycles by using the Mayan Calendar, which tracks the 5,125-year Long Count ending in the year 2012. History shows that civilizations suddenly appeared around 3115 B.C. in Egypt, India, and Sumer that used calendars based on systems similar to the Mayan Calendar, reflecting what was once a universal and sacred understanding of time. In The Mayan Code, Barbara Hand Clow draws on the work of biologist Carl Johan Calleman and many other New Paradigm researchers to unearth the deeper meaning behind the calendar and its message for modern civilization, especially during its final five years.
As we approach the end of the Mayan Calendar, time and consciousness are accelerating. Working with Calleman's time-acceleration theory, Barbara Hand Clow shows how the cycles of time marked by the calendar match important periods in the evolutionary data banks of Earth and the Milky Way Galaxy and that the calendar describes the evolutionary stage to come. She explores how our own personal healing is the most important factor as we prepare to make this critical leap in human evolution–now referred to as the awakening of the World Mind.
5 Stars A Change of Consciousness
Clow states that humans were quarantined from the rest of the Universe after the flood of 9500 BCE.
Earth is an isolated planet in the midst of an evolving
and highly organized interplanetary, intergalactic, and
multidimensional universe…a member of a collective
Universe that functions by universal law, and life was planted
here and cultivated under the stewardship of more advanced
societies. (180)
She believes the end date of The Mayan Calendar, which traditionally is 2012, is actually between 2008 and 2011. But Clow is not predicting a destructive end; she predicts a spiritual or evolutionary shift, a change of consciousness. Clow sees this event as the end of Earth's quarantine from the Universe and the decline of our aggressive and destructive ways. This new era will provide more opportunity for contact with beings from other star systems, such as the Pleiades.
Clow cites many references that help validate her work. She discusses "intelligent design" and her problems with Darwin's evolution that don't account for "gaps" in our advances. She suggests that time acceleration is occurring and that we have already begun to feel a quickening of the energy around us. She claims we have all been feeling that heightened awareness since 1998.
She encourages us to clear out the toxins from our past, so that we can move forward. She believes that "old junk" needs to be released, such as memories of catastrophic floods from our distant past. These memories are not yet conscious ones. We see future destruction because of our unacknowledged or unprocessed past. With time acceleration, the traumas and emotional blocks are coming to light, and the Iraq War is helping us remember. Our challenge is to listen to and then clear these old hurts.
4 Stars A Good Introduction
Being the first book that I have read on the 2012 Mayan predictions , The Mayan Code eased me into a variety of concepts and hypothesis that ultimately revolve around the acceleration and evolution of the human will.
Ms. Clow blends academia with spirituality to deliver a work that is touching, fun, and interesting. Nothing like the doomesday messages out in the media, Ms. Clow's book focuses on the hopeful message that we have a chance to be "keepers of life, not masters of death."
1 Star Mayan Code Hoopla
Barbara Hand Clow's book The Mayan Code, has some pieces of useful information in it, but the conclusions she draws about the meaning of the Mayan Calendar rings with the same tone as much of the New Age revelations. Her rational mind spins out assumptions that border on the ridiculous. It's the same attitude I've witnessed among many New Agers. They'd rather be "right and knowledgeable" Than keep their assumptions grounded in facts. Check out the current crop of 2012 books in stores. I can't name a one who really knows what it means. Skip this book and stick with science.
2 Stars Rambling
Books starts with the interesting topic of Mayans then turns into her rambling. gets harder to read the more you go on as it gets more into her theories. im pretty sure she stretches the facts to make it fit her ideas. the only reason why it gets two stars instead of one, she has some interesting idea mixed into the pages of rambling. Definitely would not buy it if i could go back in time.
4 Stars Great Book!
I loved this account of 2012. This book is a solid foundation in my metaphysical library and is easy ti understand and compelling. Highly recommend this book for anyone trying to understand the Maya 2012 theory and understanding the awakening on man.
