4 Years of Protesting Over the Wall of Shame

While the world commemorates the fall of one wall, another is the focus of unyielding protest.

For some, the separation barrier between Israel and the West Bank is an essential security buffer, for others, it is a a symbol of oppression. Every Friday, hundreds of people come to protest its presence.

Israel has turned a deaf ear to critics of the wall.

Since the protests began four and a half years ago, 1300 people have been injured.   Some of those who march in protest are Israeli citizens, who believe that the wall is dividing Israel and is ethically wrong.
