Shocking Murder at Catholic Church

A priest was found dead yesterday in the rectory of St. Patrick's church in Chatham, New York.

Father Edward Hinds was still dressed in vestments. He was last seen alive around 11 Thursday night, following a safety seminar held by police at the church in which they fingerprinted and photographed young children.

Hinds was loved by his community.

Chatham is an upscale bedroom community of about 10,000 people. The murder was the first to occur in 20 years.
