Westboro Baptist Church in Arkansas Faces Counter-Protests
The "dung eating Ghandi" and other tidbits of hate were shared by the Westboro Baptist Church, which made an appearance at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, on Tuesday.
The Phelps, who are members of Westboro Baptist Church, say that young people should read the Bible because "this nation is going down."
College members organized a counter-protest. They said that the Phelps were certainly entitled to free speech, but that they were misinterpreting the Bible.
