Gohmert on Hate Crimes
Think Progress reported on Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX)'s attacks on the hate crimes bills, equating homosexuality with having sex with corpses and animals. He went on to say that the hate crimes legislation will take away important moral teachings in America and will create a Nazi-like culture. According to Think Progress, Gohmert read lengthy passages from the bible to support his position.
