"When we sin, it's a stinky choice," we learn from a promotional video from Sight & Sound Theatres® about its upcoming presentation, Jonah (the video is embedded below).
Jonah is a $3 million musical production, set to show in Branson, Mo., March 26, 2014. The production will run there until the end of 2014. The costly production includes dramatic visual effects and the employment of 50 actors.
The musical premiered in 2012 at Sight & Sound’s theater in Lancaster County, Pa., where more than 850,000 guests reportedly saw the production during its one-season run. "Audiences were delighted as Jonah’s adventure takes him through a terrible storm, an encounter with an enormous fish, his new life in a wicked empire and the struggles he faces while learning to trust the Lord," the production company says.
The mission of Sight & Sound Theatres® "is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sow the Word of God into the lives of our customers, guests and fellow workers by visualizing and dramatizing the scriptures, through inspirational productions, encouraging others and seeking always to be dedicated and wise stewards of our God-given talents and resources."
