I read "Breaking Free" during a church Bible study with a small group of women a few years ago. I never realized how my feelings were affecting my spiritual growth, and the way I saw God. Beth's study helped set me free from strongholds I'd been in bondage to for years! When I purchased this book, I was feeling good about my spirituality and the direction I was heading in my life, but I still felt that I was missing a piece of the puzzle. While reading this book I was struck by the realization that some elements of my behavior and thought process were not "just my personality" but areas that God could bless and change for me. I learned while studying this book to let go of some deep past hurts. Hurts that I thought were already gone, but were really bubbling under the surface. This is a great book if you are willing to dig deep into your spirituality with an honest and open heart.
