Poll: Majority support Roe vs. Wade, and access to legal abortions in most cases

In news guaranteed to tick off the Religious Right, a poll conducted by an NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll, 54% of respondents said that they support abortion in any/most cases, including rape. 44% of respondents said they thought abortion should be illegal. 70% of respondents said that they support Roe vs. Wade. The issue was a hot topic in the 2012 campaign, but clumsy handling of the topic along with their bungling of the topic of rape, by Republicans may have cost them the election. Jeanne Monahan with March for Life claims in the below interview that 80% of Americans want restrictions on abortion, despite bids to enact personhood laws in various states have been struck down every single time.
