From the Egg People Front: Catholics Protesting Birth Control

Reality Check reports that "the 40 Days For Life anti-abortion campaign kicked off its fall tour yesterday — it's largest yet, spread across 200 cities in 45 states."

It is not just abortion that the group is protesting. Birth control, whether contraceptives for women or condoms for men, is also under attack.

Reporter Hunter Stuart visited a protest against a family planning center in Wisconsin, whose only "crime" is dispensing birth control. The clinic does not provide abortions, nor does it give recommendations to abortion providers.

The video highlights the "personhood" philosophy of the protesters and the lawsuit that the family planning clinic had to launch out of concern for the safety of its clientele. The largely Catholic group would like to see birth control criminalized because they feel that premarital sex should have consequences, and that "a person is a person, no matter how small."
