Kanakak Christian Summer Camp Director Charged with Sexual Abuse

Pete Newman, director of the Kanakak Kamps in Branson has been charged with four counts of sex crimes against children under 18 years old. Newman allegedly engaged in sex crimes against young campers for the past 10 years.

The Kanakak Kamps are popular Christian summer camps, with eight locations throughout the State of Missouri. Each year, 14,000 kids enroll at the camps.
