The Boy Scouts has lost its largest corporate donor over its policy that discriminates against gays. On June 7, the organization affirmed its policy to deny membership to LGBT people, shortly before the Los Angeles Times revealed that the Boy Scouts organization had been hiding child sexual abuse cases for approximately 20 years.
Intel has decided to end donations until the group stops its anti-gay discrimination.
Most of Intel's donations have not been made to Boy Scouts of America, but to individual Boy Scout groups which may or may not ascribe to the anti-gay policies.
