"Thank God for these faithful Intercessors!" wrote Pastor Rob Schenck of Faith and Action, who took a video of the prayer room at the Republican Convention in Florida. Schenck's video is entitled, "The Most Important Work at the Republican Convention."
"Thank you Lord. We love you Almighty God. Father, we want this nation to have a future. We want our children and grandchildren to have a future," a woman prays as loud music and shouting from the main convention area drown her voice out. "And I pray, Lord, that you really pull down those strongholds, expose that wickedness, Lord, and that you replace the wickedness with righteousness."
As Ben Adler at The Nation points out, the religious right has had a huge influence at the Republican National Convention.
